Albert Sebille

Albert Sebille was trained in the fine arts in Marseille. In 1894, at the age of twenty, he went up to Paris and practice maritime narrative painting, which led him to be appointed official painter of the Navy in 1907. After World War I, he became attached to the newspaper L'Illustration. He worked for the maritime league, and collaborated with the Transat Revue.
