Edwin Levick

Born in London and educated in France, the son of a former British Consul in Suez, Mr. Edwin Levick came to America in 1899. Mr. Levick specialized in marine photography, in which profession he has established for himself a national reputation. Photographs of regattas and all kinds of artistic marine studies have been his particular interest, and reproductions of his work have been published in books, newspapers and magazines such as the Chicago Tribune, the New York Times, and the New York Herald Tribune as well as Rudder and Motorboat Magazine.

Levick photographic firm operated after his death, until 1940.
