Captain H. Percy Ashley was an American ship modeler who was born in Catskill, New York in the late 1860s. He is known for his building style which is to have the ship model appear as the ship would, with wear and patina. His work can be found in several collections including the Mystic Seaport Museum, and Nantucket Historical Association.
