Harold Gresley

Landscape and figure painter in oil and watercolor. Born in Derby, England, he followed his father and grandfather in being a painter. He studied at Derby School of Art, at Nottingham School of Art, and at the Royal College of Art. He served in the Royal Fusiliers in the First World War and was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal.
