Karl F. Wede

Karl F. Wede was born in Germany. After moving to the US, he resides in the Hudson Valley region, between Kingston and Saugerties, and became a dealer in nautical antiques and ship models. According to Historic Ship Models of the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries in the Kriegstein Collection, 2021, in chapter II, Mr. Wede moved back to Germany at some point after 1968. He is the author of The Ship's Bell Its History and Romance, which was published by the Seaport Museum in 1972.
